Your contribution:As the Group Financial Controller you are responsible for the delivery and analysis of all consolidated data reporting within the HZPC. You enable stakeholders to make the right decisions to guide the Royal HZPC Group by providing them with concise and accurate data within a timely manner.
The main responsibilities in this role are: To deliver and analyze all consolidated date reporting within the HZPC. This entails:
- Consolidating financial and non-financial data (FTEs, volumes), maintaining the consolidation tool Oracle EPM:FCCS, and managing reporting packages for actuals, latest estimates (LE), budgets, and year-end closing reports.
- Acting as a key user of the Group's financial consolidation and reporting tool (Oracle EPM FCCS), playing a crucial role in documenting and sharing relevant knowledge about this tool within the organization.
- Being the first point of contact for all worldwide banking relationships, managing working capital, and optimizing the working capital structure within the Royal HZPC Group.
- Forecasting and planning cash flow, implementing strategies and tools to mitigate risks such as liquidity risk, currency risk, and interest rate risk, and continuously improving and professionalizing treasury processes within the group. Additionally, assisting with treasury-related projects.
Your profile:As a Group Financial Controller, you have an academic background with a master's degree in accounting or economics combined with 5 years of relevant work experience. Treasury knowledge and experience is essential. You are fluent in both Dutch and English, in speaking and writing. You are described as strong, independent, self-starting, and motivated. Furthermore, you possess the following skills:
- Analytical skills: You can understand financial data and explain it simply to stakeholders.
- Communication skills: You effectively communicate with internal financial stakeholders about the required information and report in a collaborative manner to both internal and external stakeholders, including in intercultural contexts.
- Consolidation skills: You understand financial closures and consolidation tools, with experience in working with consolidation tools (knowledge and experience with Oracle EPM FCCS is a plus).
- Knowledge and understanding of Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
- Record-to-Report process: You have knowledge and experience in overseeing and optimizing the Record-to-Report process.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications: You have strong skills in Microsoft, particularly Excel.
